Every time I talk to Dean Broadley, I always learn something new or gain a new perspective around an old issue. This Surfacing podcast conversation that Andy Vitaleand I had with Dean explored many topics: innovation, leading teams, the design community in South Africa — and gardening.
We recorded this episode earlier this year, and thinking back on it now, the part of this conversation that is the most memorable for me is Dean talking about the coffee can antennae that brought the wireless internet to the Mgenduzweni township in South Africa.
